Fossil sandstone is a robust flagstone suitable exterior use.

It is a riven buff coloured flagstone with natural face and hand cut edge.

We do not send out samples of these materials as they are too heavy.

Exterior stone should be maintained by regular brushing with soapy water. If you use a jet wash then be careful not to lift out the pointing between the flags.
Please avoid using very caustic algae removers and path cleaners unless necessary as it can be harmful to the stone.
