This warm travertine flagstone with its mix of colours and worn and rounded edges lends iitself to that old fashioned Farmhouse kitchen.
It aquires a rich patina over time and is a very popular farmhouse kitchen floor, more rustic in feel to the Light Travertine.
Tip ! Often rather than using an Ivory Grout on its own, try blending it with a Beige grout to get a softer feel to the floor.It is suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, and flooring of any nature.
Travertine is much easier to maintain than many would have you believe. It is advisable not to use traditional bathroom cleaners and scourers, but instead a mild ph soap. There are specialist soaps available such as Easy Care but many supermarkets now supply a Marseilles type soap for use on natural materials such as limestone, marble and wood.
